Twin Lakes Camp Resort is situated on a peninsula of 18 treed acres of beauty in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Come enjoy the tranquil setting and the views offered by Holley Lake and King Lake on either side of the property. We currently have 61 Full Hook-Up RV Sites, 3 of which are Buddy Sites. For travelers without an RV, Twin Lakes Camp Resort can accommodate you with 5 Luxury Cabin Suites, 9 Glamping Tents, 3 Tiny Homes, and 2 Lake Houses for larger groups.

With 3,500 linear feet of waterfront on King Lake and Holley Lakes and 12 docks you will find plenty of space for fishing, launching a boat, or just relaxing. We have electric boat and kayak rentals for fishing or just having a nice time on the water. Our beautiful bath house, laundry facility, and activity center are yours for play or gatherings.

The mild sounds of Nature are far enough off I-10 so you won’t hear traffic. We are the perfect Northwest Florida location for a serene family vacation, an “Off the Road” stop over, a quiet getaway, or a staycation close to the beach.

  We have stayed at Twin Lakes for the month of March, both this year and last. They have been truly beautiful stays. The staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the history of the campground, and also sites in historic Defuniak Springs. One of our favorite things about the camp is that you can watch the sunrise over one lake, and enjoy the sunset over the other.  Absolutely breathtaking!!
The campground is spotless and secured. You feel safe anytime - day or night. There is also a community fire ring allowing you to meet and mingle with other campers. It is the perfect place to relax.
The bathrooms are clean, updated, and gorgeous! I wish mine at home looked as good 😁. The pool is well-maintained, and  a good place to enjoy the sunshine.
Glamping, tiny houses, and the cabin suites,  are also available, making this campground perfect for all families and stages of camping.
If you like to fish, the lakes offer that opportunity.  It is fun to watch the ducks and their babies, and spot turtles - especially during feeding times. This past year we enjoyed seeing eagles, heron, a some falcons. We also heard a couple of owls.

  I just finished another month stay at this resort and as many before me have said it is well maintained, gated, lots of space between each site and a place that if you get up early you can see the sunrise over the lake and if you walk at evening over to the other lake you get to see the sunset ( not many campgrounds provide you both the sunrise and sunset. Megan and Isiah along with the camp host Delbert and Reva bring are very curtious along with attentive to their guests needs.  The community fire pit is the one of the big attractions at the camp, the hosts start their day off each morning getting the fire going for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. You will see folks coming up once it’s going with coffee in one hand and a donut in the other. I have meet so many new people during my stays there that have become lifetime close friends. Many of the people who I have met at the campfire have said this campground is a hidden gem, I totally agree with that statement. I have been camping for over 50 yrs, I have not run into many campgrounds that provide you with a setting and enjoyment like this one does.

I need to touch on some previous reviews that come across like the owners and hosts have complete control of everything that takes place in camp. First of all I am an avid fisherman and fish daily when I’m camped there, I have been out many times and come back without a bite, other days I find the right color the fish like and come back with a big smile on my face with lots of fish stories, the camp has not control over if or what you catch from the dock or a boat. There are fish in both lakes, you have to try what you know or ask one of the campers who has been out what to use. If you are staying in one of the cabins, tiny homes, or yurks and find some wrong, tell Megan or one of the hosts, they are very accommodating and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I guarantee one of them will fix it (don’t wait till you get home and write a bad review about an issue that could have been fixed by telling one of them). They also do not have control of the weather (which includes rain and wind). If it rains it just part of camping, those are the days you can go to the community center and watch a movie on the big screen, play pool with maybe a new friend, or use their community kitchen and make a meal you couldn’t have back in your RV or cabin.

This is for sure a campground you need to put on your list to experience, not many campground have a 4.7 rating with over 600 reviews.

  This is a beautiful park with adequate spacing between RVs. The staff are extremely friendly and make your visit comfortable. We used the public kitchen on two two occasions due to weather, and it made our group dinners and breakfast more enjoyable.

I would give Twin Lakes a 5 Star rating if and when they decide to utilize some space for a fenced-in dog play area. Our pooch is very active and loves to play ball. The walks were adequate but rocky, and play time would be better for him.

  A great relaxing experience for me and the wife. A clean glamping setup just right for us. They included a microwave, a mini fridge, electric, and plumbing for the bathroom. Front porch overlooking the lake. A fire pit so we could enjoy the campfire experience. There is a pool and recreation area, a small store also.

  This was one of the nicest, cleanest and well-maintained camp resorts we have been to in quite some time! The fishing was great, super clean bath houses/facilities and the sweet staff (Mrs. Reva and her husband) were amazing and so helpful!! I see lots of future reservations being made here!!
